Holly's Henna

Holler in the Holler - A music festival near Berea, KY - what FUN!!! Holly got a Henna tattoo... check it out... As you can see in the picture with my green shirt, it was very faint after the henna came off... the dappling sun didn't help matters either... I will try to get a better picture soon ;)

Second Grade @ Clays Mill Elementary

Clara is 7 and in Second Grade. Holly starts her 8th year teaching Art at the Jessamine Early Learning Village - teaching 900+ PreK and Kindergarten students.

Mimi's Masterpiece

Mimi and Clara did some sewing projects this summer (2011). Clara loved this print on the fabric of little dolls from around the world so Mom decided to make her a sundress... What a masterpiece - way to go Momma! Here is Clara after church last Sunday.

The Next Newest Members of the Gilpin Family

Clara has wanted a reptile all summer long... "What should I get?" A lizard? A turtle? A frog? A snake? HUMMMM! Well, on her last day of "freedom" of Summer Break 2011 Clara and Jonathan went on an anole hunt. We now have 2 female apple green anoles - currently named, "Liza and Zarda". See the pictures below and we will post more soon ;)
